Build-A-Bike

Join the City of Elyria and the Elyria Bicycle Education Center for BUILD-A-BIKE, a bike refurbishing volunteer opportunity where seasoned bicycle mechanics, beginners, and volunteers with a heart for service are encouraged to arrive at West Park Garage (1200 Foster Avenue) between 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM to help work on bikes that were donated. Since the last build-a-bike event, nearly 30 bike have been distributed to Elyria residents.  

Refurbishing the bikes will allow for distribution to those in need, as well as sales to support repair cost for said distribution. Registration not required. For questions, please call the Office of the Mayor at 440-326-1402.
