Cleveland POPS Orchestra in the Square

The City of Elyria is pleased to announce the return of the Cleveland POPS Orchestra at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30. This free event, a community favorite, will take place on the steps of Elyria’s historic courthouse overlooking Ely Square.

Northeast Ohio has been the home of the Cleveland POPS Orchestra since its founding in 1993. This symphonic-size, professional ensemble performs popular music, jazz, big band, Broadway, and light classical works. Conducted by Carl Topilow,
the Cleveland POPS Orchestra performs regularly at Severance Hall and Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio. You can learn more at www.clevelandpops.com.

This concert is an opportunity for all Elyrians to enjoy world-class music in beautiful Ely Square, for free. Due to the popularity of this event it is recommended you arrive early for the best parking and seating areas.
