US Route 20: Roadway Improvement Update
US 20, at the intersections of Cleveland Street/South Abbe Road and Cleveland Street/SR 57, will have single lane closures as needed as crews continue to work on traffic signal replacements at the two intersections in the City of Elyria. Crews completed the installation of the new traffic signals at both intersections, SR 57/Cleveland Street and South Abbe/Cleveland Street and were able to place the asphalt intermediate course. However, due to weather delays the past week, crews still need to complete surface course and final pavement markings. Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during the short-term lane closures for the construction of the traffic signals. The project is expected to be complete May 2020; however, all work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
State Route 301
SR 301, from SR 254 to College Drive, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete June 2020.
