In order to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act amendments, the Elyria Water Department issues annual reports on the monitoring performed on its drinking water. The focus of this report is to increase consumers’ understanding of drinking water and to heighten awareness of the need to safeguard our precious water resources. This report will explain where your water comes from and the treatment process. The chart contained in this report shows that all contaminants detected in your water are within Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.
