The Elyria Public Utilities Office is committed to providing the best possible service to our customers. We would like your cooperation to help us accomplish this goal. We may need access to your water meter or additional information as indicated below.

Please call Elyria Public Utilities at 440-326-1570 to discuss an unusually high water bill – you may have a leak. If you have a leak, a credit may be applied to your account once repairs have been made and your account readings return to normal.

If high readings are a result of additional house guests, outside water, filling a pool or any other activities that require a lot of water, please let us know so that we do not continue to send you notices. We cannot credit your account for any of these reasons. If you have a pool, irrigation system, or do a lot of outside watering, you may want to consider purchasing a private water meter for significant savings on your bill. Please contact us for details.
