LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Elyria is inviting bids for Solid Waste Collection, Disposal, and Recycling Services. Bid documents can be obtained from the City of Elyria Safety Service Director’s Office located at Elyria City Hall, 131 Court Street, Suite 301, Elyria, OH 44035 (Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) or by requesting via email to CPyanowski@CityofElyria.Org.
TIME FOR RECEIVING BIDS: Until 2:00 p.m., September 3, 2025, Elyria Time at Elyria Safety Service Director’s Office, Attn: SSD, 131 Court Street, Suite 301, Elyria, OH 44035
TIME FOR OPENING BIDS: 2:00 p.m., September 3, 2025
PLACE: 3rd Floor Conference Room, Elyria City Hall
WORK: Residential Solid Waste Collection, Disposal and Recycling Services within the City of Elyria, Ohio.
There shall be a voluntary Pre-bid meeting on July 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in 3rd Floor Conference Room, Elyria City Hall, 131 Court Street, Elyria, OH 44035
Each Bid shall contain all Bid Forms and if the Bid is accepted a Contract shall be entered into with the City in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Form of Contract contained within the Bid Documents. The Safety Service Director reserves the right to make separate or combination awards and to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any information in the bids received.
Each bidder shall insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their handicap, race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disability Act. Bidders shall be required to comply with all Federal and State laws and regulations concerning these matters.
