The City of Elyria is seeking seasonal, part-time Laborers to join various departments. The position of Laborer is an entry-level position to the City of Elyria. Laborers serves in various departments of the City of Elyria, including Water Pumping, Wastewater Pollution Control, Streets, Cemetery, Parks, and many others. This position generally works to provide the cleaning and maintenance on municipal buildings, municipal lands and general public areas. The work performed will generally consists of mowing, cleaning, painting, snow removal, shoveling and other duties as assigned. Most of the work day will be performed outside.
Candidate must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
