Responsible for fiscal administration including assisting the Mayor’s office in the preparation and administration of the City’s operating budget and capital outlay. Manages and administers the City’s debt program.
Responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, internal auditing, fixed assets, cash management and financial reporting functions, as well as the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, analysis of investment alternatives for the City and performing month-end and year-end closings. Works with the Regional Income Tax Agency (R.I.T.A.) to manage the collection and administration of the City income tax revenues and enforcement of the City tax code. Responsible for collection and administration of hotel/motel tax revenues.
