Beginning Tuesday, August 11, street resurfacing will begin on the following streets:

- In the intersection of Defiance Avenue and Carol Lane
- Defiance Avenue between Chestnut Ridge Road and Nebraska Avenue
- Prospect Street between Georgia Avenue and Michigan Avenue
- Park Avenue between Miami Avenue and Vassar Avenue
- Yale Avenue between East River Street and Sherman Street
No parking will be permitted in these work zones weekdays from 7:00am until 7:00pm or while crews are present. The roadways will first be milled and then repaved. Work is anticipated to be completed by the evening of Tuesday, August 18, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Access to driveways will be maintained throughout the project. Traffic will be maintained; however, delays should be expected. Please plan accordingly, use alternate routes when possible, and use extra caution while traveling through the work zone. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this improvement project is completed.
