Beginning Monday, September 8, 2025, 4th Street will be closed while Water Distribution crews upgrade underground infrastructure.
This will be a “rolling closure,” with work progressing block by block, starting at West Avenue and proceeding east to East River Road. School and emergency traffic will be accommodated; however, delays should be expected.
All other traffic will need to detour via Broad Street. The closure is anticipated to continue through October 10, 2025.
