Beginning Wednesday, July 8, CSX will be performing upgrades to the railroad crossing on Griswold Road between Lake Avenue and Leona Street.
The railroad crossing is expected to be closed for approximately seven days while crews perform the necessary work.
Eastbound Traffic Detour:
South on Lake Avenue → East on State Route 113 → North on State Route 57/Lorain Boulevard
Westbound Traffic Detour:
South on State Route 57/Lorain Boulevard → West on State Route 113 → North on Lake Avenue
Motorists traveling through the area should expect delays and are encouraged to use the posted detour or alternate routes.
