Beginning tomorrow, February 27 at 8:00am East Broad Street will be closed to all eastbound traffic between Kipling Street and Prospect Street while crews work to repair a broken water main. The recommended detour for eastbound traffic will be
North on East River St -> East on Clark Street -> South on Prospect Street.
This closure is anticipated to last until 3pm.
The repair work that is taking place will affect the 200, 300 and 400 block of East Broad Street. There may be temporary disruptions in water service while the repair crew is working. Once repairs are complete and service is restored, if you experience discolored water, allow cold water to run until it clears.
