The City of Elyria Utilities Department has been notified by our credit card processing provider that they are currently experiencing a service interruption and are unable to process one-time credit or debit card payments at this time.
Automatic payments are not impacted and will continue to process as scheduled.
Until service is restored, one-time utility payments may be made:
• In person at the Utility Office by cash or check, or
• By mailing a check to the Utility Office
We apologize on behalf of the credit card processing provider for the inconvenience. We will share updates regarding restoration as soon as we receive them.
