Elyria, OH – On Friday, thirty-four (34) students will receive certificates and laptops for completing computer training through the City of Elyria in partnership with Kinetic by Windstream, Goodwill Industries of Lorain County, and Techne. Details of the ceremony are as follows:
WHAT: Computer Training Graduation for the First Cohort of 2021
WHEN: Friday, June 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: Thomas O. Shores South Recreation Center, 101 S. Park Drive, Elyria, OH 44035
The ceremony is open to the public. Registration and/or RSVPs are not required. For any questions about the graduation celebration, please contact the Office of the Mayor and Safety Service Director at 440-326-1402.
Computer training classes are still available throughout the summer for residents in need of computer skills and basic training. Registration is available at a rolling basis at elyriacares.org/computer-training, or via phone call at 440-305-0455.
