Town Hall & Master Plan Kick Off: Parks & Recreation

Attend the City of Elyria’s Parks and Recreation Town Hall and Master Plan Kick off on October 12, at 5:30 pm at Thomas Shores South Recreation Center (215 16th Street, Elyria OH 44035). 

Residents are deeply encouraged to attend the event to:

• Share their hopes for various City parks and public spaces; and
• Provide feedback about upcoming and/or completed projects; and 
• Discuss their experiences in recreational programming, including, but not limited to: TAPs (and other senior-focused programming), youth programming, and leagues
• Advocate for new additions, trails, amenities, and/or activities to become a part of the public spaces and future programming 

At the event, Elyrians can anticipate:

• An overview of Elyria’s current parks and/or public spaces, as well as an analysis of past programming and recreation; and 
• A review of accomplishments from the 2016 Master Plan; and 
• An opportunity to learn about and complete a 10-minute, confidential survey about your hopes for Parks and Recreation in our community.
