Free Mask Distribution

The Office of the Mayor will be distributing 100% cotton face covers to Elyria residents free of charge on Thursday, July 16 from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The face covers were donated from Bella + Canvas through their Masks for Mayors initiative. There are roughly 2,000 face covers remaining.

Agencies and nonprofit organizations in need of masks are encouraged to email Ren Flanders, Chief of Staff at rflanders@cityofelyria.org , or call 440-326-1402 directly to reserve masks for programming. 

Disclaimer: The 100% cotton face cover from Bella + Canvas should not be used 1) surgical settings or to provide liquid barrier protection 2) in a clinical setting where the infection risk-level through inhalation exposure is high 3) for particulate filtration 4) in high risk aerosol generating procedures.
