Join the Office of the Mayor and Safety Service Director for the first-ever Engaged Elyrian Week, a week-long series of events aimed at increasing resident engagement and opportunity in our community. Residents (and our non-resident community) can attend each event virtually via Zoom by either computer or telephone; additionally, some events will be streamed LIVE at Facebook.com/ElyriaOhio.

Monday, April 12 - Frank Conversation with Mayor Whitfield: Office Hours
TIME: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
DETAILS: Share 15 minutes with Mayor Whitfield via Zoom to share your ideas, ask questions, and propose solutions around our community’s challenges.
Registration is required.

Tuesday, April 13 - Community Chat #3: Prioritizing & Confirming the ATP
TIME: 12:00-1:15 p.m.
DETAILS: Give your input on walking and biking routes in your Elyria neighborhood to help the City of Elyria, in partnership with Lorain County Public Health, create a safe community for everyone that walks, bikes, rolls, or drives during this interactive planning discussion. TIME: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
DETAILS: Learn details about the newly developed Elyria Community Development Corporation (CDC) including information about its function, current progress, and how to get involved in steering, governance, events, and downtown development committees.

Saturday, April 17 - Virtual City of Elyria Career Fair
TIME: 9:00-11:30 a.m.
DETAILS: Join the City of Elyria Team! We’re hiring for various full-time roles, including:
- Human Resources Director
- Community Development Project Manager
- Project Engineer
- Police Officers
- Information Technology (I.T.) Technician
As well as various part-time and seasonal roles in most City departments.
