The City of Elyria is sponsoring its annual Community Shred Day on Saturday, August 29, from 9:00am to 12:00pm for residents to safely destroy personal records, financial documents, business proceedings, and more. Residents can bring their private documents to the parking lot behind Elyria City Hall located at 131 Court Street.
What you need to know:
- There is no charge for this service;
- Paper items only please. No garbage or folders;
- There is no need to remove paper clips or staples.
COVID SAFETY MEASURES: Please stay in your vehicle at all times. Helpers will be on hand to unload your vehicle for you. Simply drive in, follow the orange cones, and watch your documents get shredded before you leave.
