FACT SHEET: Elyria USEPA GRANT Fact Sheet 
The City recently received a grant for $400,000 to provide environmental studies, cleanup planning and public outreach on eligible brownfield properties located within the City of Elyria.
Participation in the program is voluntary. By way of this letter and other outreach, the City is looking for sites to participate in the brownfield grant program. There is no financial match required to participate in the program.
The grant may be used to complete the following on ANY eligible brownfield property WITHIN City limits:
- Public outreach
- Site Eligibility Determination
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Report
- Site Sampling and Analysis Plan
- Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Report
- Cleanup Planning and Cleanup Design
A public meeting to discuss the program and provide additional information is SCHEDULED for:
Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
