The CHIP Program provides grants to eligible communities interested in undertaking housing-related activities. The grants are awarded competitively and encourage a flexible, community-wide approach to the improvement and provision of affordable housing for low- and moderate income persons, and help develop local administrative capacity. CHIP funds are provided to eligible communities through the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD).
The City of Elyria funded the following programs with its FY (2005 2007) CHIP Grant.
